Job Description:
L3Harris is looking for a self-starting, team-oriented Software Architecture Specialist with focus on UI/UX to join our dynamic development team in supporting a Government customer.
The selected candidate will join mission-oriented project with an integrated complex software system, multi-domain, full development stack that uses data from multiple sources.
The architect will be on a Lead Role for a UI/UX working group, which provides consistent looking feel for a number of capabilities.
The ideal candidate will participate of various working groups in collaboration with the customer.
The selected candidate will have the desire to continuously learn and apply new skills and technologies; and be eager to take on hard problems and develop successful solutions to achieve the overall mission.
Essential Functions:
Define data transmission, storage, and retrieval best practicesDefine Role Based Access Control (RBAC) and Protection Level / Multiple Level of Security (PL/MLS) requirementsDefine best practices for ontology definitionMaintain as-is software architectureIdentify/implement tools for auto-documentationEstablish automated process to maintain Configuration Management (CM) of the technical baselineDevelop documents-as-code approach to technical documentation.
Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI, SAP eligible Clearance RequiredB.
S.
degree Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or master's degree Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline4
Years' Experience with UI-UX design of web applications (not simple web sites) using commercial best practices for graphics, layouts, workflows, user interactions, and front-end software interfaces4
Years' Experience performing rapid prototyping of user interfaces such as wireframes, mockups, and designs.

Years' Experience in applying principles of human capabilities and constraints and knowledge of users and their environments to develop, test, and evaluate the effectiveness of user experience and interfaces (UX & UI)Preferred Additional Skills:
Strong Technical Writing skillsExcellent organizational and leadership abilities with strong communication and presentation skillsHighly analytical with an ability to see both big picture and small detailsExperience with Space C2 environment (highly preferred)Experience with Software Engineering best practicesExperience with Agile/Scrum methodology and practices.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
