years of experience negotiating deals in the interior design trades and turning homeowner's design dreams into reality? Behind the Design is currently seeking a maverick Designer Sales Consultant to fill an opening located in Poolesville, MD.
The ideal candidate will be servicing the greater luxury residential market of Bethesda, MD and Washington DC areas.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience with consultative interior product sales as the company will invest in the sales specialist to learn window treatment design.

Consultant REQUIREMENTS for Designer Sales Driver's License and ability to TRAVEL with company-provided design samples to client's homes Self-committed DRIVE and INITIATIVE to grow a territory of repeat and referral clients High proficiency in TECHNOLOGY to keep things organized and estimate projects Meticulous verbal / written COMMUNICATION with external and internal clients Designer Sales Consultant's Day in the Life RESPONSIBILITIES In-Home Consultations - Wow clients with a memorable experience using a proven system to consult, design, and deliver personalized window treatments to luxury residential clients.
Business Development - Network within the community to grow interior design, builder, and other trade referral accounts to proactively fill the pipeline.
Product Specifications - Measure, quote, and design blinds, drapery, shutters and more to estimate project timelines based on the scope of work and hand off to the project team for execution.
