Come join us! IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL:
Implement the person center plan which supports people in achieving the outcomes and goals.
On a person-by-person basis, support will require the following:
provide assistance with individual personal care needs, provide assistance with individual behavioral needs, provide assistance with individual safety needs while in the community, and provide assistance with individual transportation needs (thru use of public transportation, travel training, personal transport with DSP own car, and /or research routes for public transportation).
Provide daily documentation of people's progress, schedule changes, and activity schedules Be inquisitive.
Take initiative.
Be open to learning about new tools and methods of support such as using adaptive technology, using iphones and ipad ABOUT YOU Requires a minimum of 2 years' experiences in supporting people to achieve personal goals, or experience of comparable nature that has helped candidate build community-engagement Strong analytical skills, good mentoring/coaching abilities and a professional approach to personal development.
Will be creative, person-centered, detailed oriented, self-starter, capable of multitasking, Valid driver's license (or identification), a clean DMV record, reliable transportation.
Microsoft and other computer skills preferred.
